Microsoft finally made the announcement that it will officially end its support for Windows XP, and it will no longer provide any security patches or updates or any free technical support for this operating system. The company is trying to get as many XP users, especially large businesses to move to their latest operating system, Windows 8. Windows XP is the second most popular desktop operating system after Windows 7, and around 28 percent of businesses are still running their apps on XP.
